Accessibility
Cuttyhunk Historical Society and the Museum of the Elizabeth Islands are dedicated to making our organization and space accessible to everyone in our community.
Our first-floor museum and exhibit rooms provide access for patrons with mobility needs. Paths-of-travel and bathrooms are all easily accessible on the first floor.
Sign Language Interpretation (upon request)
ASL interpretation provides access the museum exhibits, tours, and events for the Deaf/HH community.
Large Print Programs
Large print copies of museum exhibit narratives are available upon request.
The Museum of the Elizabeth Islands does not charge for admission, but as a non-profit organization the Cuttyhunk Historical Society relies on donations, which are always welcome.

Getting to the Island
Cuttyhunk Island is accessible via public ferry or water taxi or by private vessel.
Public ferry service departs from the New Bedford, MA waterfront. Please consult the websites for exact locations and schedules. Reservations and rates can be found at Cuttyhunk Ferry Company or Cuttyhunk Water Taxi.
